Central Martyrs Memorial of Rajshahi University

It is one of the most fascinating and memorable places on our campus. I have spent a lot of time in this place for the last three years. Ever since I was admitted to Rajshahi University, I have spent a lot of time in this place, spend with friends, I have many incidents in this place. 

First I want to share with you why this column was created. It was created to commemorate the people who were martyred in the Bangladesh-Pakistan war. It reminds us of all the martyrs of the Bangladesh War of Independence and also reminds us of all the martyrs of the language movement. 

As many of you may know, Bangladesh and Pakistan were united from 1947 to 1971. At that time Bangladesh was called East Pakistan and present Pakistan was called West Pakistan. But there was a lot of political and economic disparity between the two countries. And the financial difference between the two places was noticeable. The first and biggest problem is with the state language. Every year many people here lay wreaths to commemorate the martyrs. Wreaths are laid here on three occasions, one of which is Bangladesh Independence Day, Victory Day and International Mother Language Day.  I also come here every year to give flowers on behalf of various organizations or on behalf of my department for the memory of the martyrs. But I have rarely been here since last year, because our campus was closed for the lockdown. But now the exam routine is complete and before the exam, it will start in a few days. For this I am coming back to campus, and spend time with friends.

This place seems more attractive to me than day and night. I am sharing the pictures taken during the time of fear with you. I took the first picture with my phone but the next pictures I took with my friend's phone.
