Mars

Hi guys. Today i want to tell something about Mars. People who have some knowledge about our solar system, they are known something about Mars.

 

Mars: 

 

Mars is the 4th planet from the sun and second smallest planet in our solar system. Scientists call mars as "red planet".

 

Structure: 

 

The gravity of mars is 3.721 m/s. The surface area of mars is about 144 million km. The distance from sun is 277.9 million km.

 

Moons: 

 

Mars have two moons like the earth has one. The name of those is Phobos and Deimos. Those are moving around mars circle.

 

Human mission of mars:

 

Since 1880, human want to object mars. And the aerospace engineering and scientific proposal since 1940.

 

Perseverance Mars Rover mission:

 

A rover launch for mars in 30 July 2020 and it leading by American space agency NASA. The rover land in mars 18 February 2021. The rocket name was Atlas v 541. 

 

Cost:

 

NASA says that the total cost of this mission is 2.7 billion USD and it raising to 2.9 billion USD. 

 

Ingenuity:

 

Ingenuity is a small robotic helicopter which is working NASA mars mission. On April 19, 2021, it successfully completed his first power controlled flight.

 

Size: 

 

It is about 1.6 fit long and the Wight is 1.8 KG. 

 

Zhurong:

 

Zhurong is the first rover from China in mars mission. It is the part of Tianwen 1 mission. It was launched on 23 July 2020.

 

Opportunity:

 

Opportunity rover is known as BER-B or BER-1. It was active on mars from 2004 to 2018. 

 

Launch date: 

 

Opportunity rover was launched in 8 July 2003. 9:18 AM.

 

Cost:

 

The total cost of opportunity rover is 400 million USD.

 

There are many rover is mars. They send pictures, videos and sounds in the earth and we can see this. I am really exciting about mars mission. Hopefully we can get more photos and videos from mars and we can get more information about mars.
