I am with my beloved team FC Barcelona.

 

I enjoy playing football for many years. I was only nine years old at the time of the 2006 World Cup. I didn't understand football that much. Then football pulled me with a very strong bond. First of all, I enjoyed football well, the game of the irresistible but all-conquering football team of Barcelona in 2009. The love that started for the Barcelona football team has never diminished. Over the past decade, the Barcelona team has seen thousands of ups and downs. Puyol, Xavi, Alves are gone. Iniesta, Messi continue to play. Neymar, Suarez Rakitic have arrived. Neymar, Suarez and Messi have created a terrible attacking trio. That trio is broken again. Iniesta left. I also saw the final fall of an all-conquering team.

 

বহু বছর ধরে ফুটবল খেলা উপভোগ করি আমি। ২০০৬ সালের বিশ্বকাপের সময় আমি মাত্র নয় বছরের এক বালক। ফুটবল অতটা বুঝতাম না। তারপর ও ফুটবল আমাকে টেনেছে খুব শক্তিশালী বাধন দিয়ে। সর্বপ্রথম ভাল করে ফুটবল উপভোগ করেছি ২০০৯ সালের বার্সেলোনার অপ্রতিরোধ্যও সর্বজয়ী ফুটবল টিমের খেলা। সেই যে বার্সেলোনা ফুটবল টিমের প্রতি ভালবাসা শুরু হল, তা আর কখনোই কমেনি। গত এক দশকের বেশি সময়ে বার্সেলোনা টিম দেখেছে হাজারো উত্থান পতন। পুয়োল, জাভি, আলভেস গেছে। ইনিয়েস্তা, মেসি খেলা চালিয়ে গেছে। নেইমার, সুয়ারেজ রাকিটিচ এসেছে। ভয়ঙ্কর আক্রমণত্রয়ী তৈরি করে গেছে নেইমার, সুয়ারেজ আর মেসি মিলে। সেই ত্রয়ী আবার ভেঙ্গে গেছে। ইনিয়েস্তা চলে গেল। একটা সর্বজয়ী দলের চুড়ান্ত পতন ও দেখলাম। 

 

 

 

 

However, I never thought I would support any team other than Barcelona. I am a supporter who loves a team by accepting all its ups and downs. How much success that team has had, how many failures it has had, how many tides it has traveled upstream are all minor matters to me. I was with the love team, I am, I will be.

 

তবুও কখনো মনে হয়নি বার্সেলোনা বাদে অন্য টিমকে সাপোর্ট করি। আমিতো সেই সমর্থক যে একটা দলকে ভালবাসে তার উত্থান পতন সব কিছু মেনে নিয়ে। সেই দলটা কতটা সফলতা অর্জন করলো, কতটা ব্যর্থতাই পর্যবসিত হলো, কতটা জোয়ার ভাটার টানে উজান ভাটি ভ্রমণ করলো সেগুলো আমার কাছে পুরোটাই গৌণ বিষয়। ভালবাসার টিমের সাথে ছিলাম, আছি, থাকবো।

 

 

 

Why am I suddenly writing about this? To answer some people's questions. In football, I am a supporter of Argentina as an international team. Naturally, Messi is my favorite footballer. Now that Messi is leaving Barcelona almost two decades later, many have asked me which team I will now support in club football. For their part, I have never supported Barcelona for Messi. I used to support them by watching their world play at one time. So I see no point in leaving the love team for one Messi and supporting the other team.

 

কেন হঠাৎ আমি এই বিষয় নিয়ে লিখছি? কিছু মানুষের প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে। ফুটবলে আমি আন্তর্জাতিক দল হিসেবে আর্জেন্টিনার সমর্থক। খুব স্বভাবতই মেসি আমার প্রিয় ফুটবলার। এখন যখন প্রায় দুই দশক পরে মেসি বার্সেলোনা ছেড়ে চলে যাচ্ছে, তখন অনেকেই আমাকে বলেছিল যে আমি ক্লাব ফুটবলে এখন কোন দল সাপোর্ট করবো? তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলি, আমি কখনোই মেসির জন্য বার্সেলোনা সাপোর্ট করিনি। তাদেরকে সমর্থন করতাম এক সময়ে তাদের ভুবনভোলানো খেলা দেখে। তাই এক মেসির জন্য ভালবাসার দলকে ছেড়ে অন্য দল সমর্থন করার কোন মানে দেখি।
