The website of state owned mobile phone operator Teletalk fell into the hands of hackers. The website was under the control of hackers for about an hour and a half after it was hacked at 5:49 pm on Saturday. Later, due to the efforts of Teletalk engineers, the site was released at 7.30 pm. Since then, Teletalk's website has been active as before.
In this regard, the managing director of Teletalk. Shahab Uddin told that the site was being updated with new design. One of these cycles hacks it. After learning about the hacking information, Teletalk's engineers started rescuing the site. Later, at around 7.30 pm, the site was able to be fully operational by freeing it from the clutches of hackers.
He said the process of determining the location and identity of the hackers is underway. After verifying the identity of the hackers, legal action will be taken against them. It is learned that Teletalk's website was last captured by hackers in 2016. At present, Teletalk has about 84 lakh subscribers.
