বস মেয়েটাকে কোথাও খুজে পাচ্ছি না।
"আমি এত কিছু শুনতে চাইছি না। আমি মেয়েটাকে চাই মানে চাই। কিভাবে তোরা নিয়ে আসবি তোরা জানিস। নাউ গেট লস্ট ফ্রম হেয়ার। "
হাতের গ্লাস টা ফ্লোরে ছুড়ে মারল অর্নব। রাগে গা জ্বলছে। আজ ২ দিন ধরে মেয়েটাকে খুজছে কোন ভাবেই খোজ পাচ্ছে না। অর্নব কে ধোকা দিবে এত সহজ সব কিছু। রাগে সামনের টেবিল টায় লাথি মেরে বসল।
দেখ ইলা আমি তোকে বারবার বলছি তুই আজ আসিস না কলেজের ফাংশনে। অর্নব এর লোকেরা তোকে খুজে বেরাচ্ছে। একবার হাতে পেলে তুই বাচবি না। তুই যা করেছিস তার জন্য তোকে হন্য হয়ে ওর লোকজন খুজছে।
ইলা - আমি এত কিছুর তোয়াক্কা করি না। বাসায় যেয়ে তৈরি হ, আমরা সন্ধ্যায় একসাথে হচ্ছি এটাই এখন নেইন ফ্যাক্ট। নাউ চিল বেবি।
তুই এত নিশ্চিত হয়ে কিভাবে ঘুরিস ফিরিস আমাকে একটু বলবি?

ইলা - রায়ান শুন আমি এখন এটা নিয়ে তর্ক করতে চাইছি না। কথা টা আর কাউকে বলবি না। তুই আমার বেস্ট ফ্রেন্ড তাই তোকে বললাম। আর হ্যা হারানোর মত আমার কাছে কিছু নেই এখন।
রায়ান - আমিও কি নেই? অনেকটা আবেগ জড়িয়ে কথা টা বলল রায়ান।
ইলা - তুই তো আমার বেস্টু,এখন আপন বলতে এই পৃথিবীতে তুই আছিস আর কে আছে।
(আমি তোর পুরো পৃথিবী হতে চাই ইলা, তুই বুঝিস না কেনো। এত ভালাবাসা দিব তোকে, কখনো কিছুর অভাব হবে না। একবার চোখ খুলে আমাকে খুজে নে।)
ইলা - কি ভাবছিস মজনু শাহ?
রায়ান - ধুর কিসের মজনু শাহ।আচ্ছা বাদ দে । শুন বিকালে কিন্তু আজ সেই লাল শাড়ি টাই পড়বি। যেটা আমি সেদিন কিনে দিয়েছিলাম।
ইলা - নাহ বাবা, আমি শাড়ি পড়তে পারি না। আর এত দামি শাড়ি পড়ে রি ইউনিয়ন এ যাব নাকি।
রায়ান ইলার দুই হাত ধরে ওর দিকে চাইল। ইলা একটু বিব্রত হয়ে গেল রায়ান এর এতটা কাছে আসায়।
ইলা - রা..রায়ান....
রায়ান - প্লিজ দোস্ত আমার জন্য তো পড়তে পারবি তাই না? প্লিজ দোস্ত পার্লারে চলে যাবি লাগে। প্লিজ শাড়ি পড়ে যাবি।
ইলা - দূর ওই সব শাড়ি ভাল লাগে না, সামলাতেও পারি না, পড়তে তো পারি ই না। বাদ দে না।
রায়ান ইলার হাত ছেড়ে মুখ টাকে কালো করে সরে গেল। ইলা চেয়ে আছে ওর দিকে, খারাপ লাগছে। বেস্ট ফ্রেন্ড এর আবদার, ফেলে দেওয়া কি উচিত হবে?
ইলা - আচ্ছা যা পড়ছি বিকালে।
রায়ান - নাহ থাক লাগবে না। তোর ঝামেলা হোক চাই না।
ইলা - আহারে আমার সেন্টি কুমার, সেন্টি খেয়ে ভুড়ি বানাতে হবে না, মেয়ে পাবি না পরে।
রায়ান হেসে বলল - তখন তোকে বিয়ে করব। তোর জন্যি তো সেন্টি খেয়ে ভুড়ি হয়ে গেছে।
ইলা - তোকে বিয়ে করতে আমার বয়েই গেসে তাই না?।
হু করবি করবি, তোকেই বিয়া করব। তোরে জ্বালানোর জন্য।
ইলা কথাটায় একটু বিব্রত বোধ করল। প্রসংগ পাল্টে সে বলল - আচ্ছা বাদ দে। এখন তুই বাসায় যা রেডি হব,সুন্দর করে সাজবি, তাহলে মেয়েরা ক্রাশ খাবে।
রায়ান বিড়বিড় করে বলল, আর কারো না, তোর খেলেই হবে।
ইলা - কি বললি?
রায়ান - বললাম, হু সুন্দর মেয়ে হান্ট করতে যাব তো আজ পাগলনী। যাহ।
বেশ খানিক সময় হাসি মজা করে রায়ান আর ইলা যার যার রাস্তায় চলে গেল। সন্ধ্যায় কলেজের রি ইউনিয়ন । কলেজ লাইফ থেকে এই রায়ান টাই একমাত্র বন্ধু হিসাবে আছে। বাকি সবাই কই আছে জানা নেই, তবে আজ দেখা হবে, প্রায় ৮ বছর পর সবার সাথে দেখা হচ্ছে । খুব খুশি লাগছে ইলার কাছে আজকে।
"স্যার আপনার বিকালে কিন্তু কলেজের চিফ গেস্ট হিসাবে যাওয়ার কথা। বিকাল ৫ টায় অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হবে। "

অর্নব -আরেহ তেমন কিছু না। বস এখানে, তোর সাথে কিছু কথা বলার জন্য ডেকেছি।
আহনাফ -খুব জরুরি না হলে তুই এখন রেস্ট কর।পরে কথা বলবি।
অর্নব - সমস্যা নেই। মেয়েটার কোন খোজ পেয়েছিস?
আহনাফ মুখ টা মলিন করে ফেলল -নাহ, তুই যেই বর্ননা দিয়েছিস তার সাথে মিল রেখে কোন মেয়ে কে পাচ্ছি না।
অর্নব রেগে গেল। -না পাওয়ার মত কেউ তো না এই মেয়ে। এই শহরেই কোথাও লুকিয়ে আছে। আমি মেয়েটাকে যেভাবে হোক আমার সামনে চাই।আজকে আমি চলে যাচ্ছি।বাট তোর উপর পুরো রেস্পন্সিবলিটি, আই ওয়ান্ট দ্যাট গার্ল এট এনি কস্ট।
আহনাফ - ওকে ওকে কুল ডাউন, আমি দেখছি কি করা যায়।

অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হতে হতে সন্ধ্যা ৭ টা বাজল। অর্নব ঠিক ৭ টা বাজেই পৌছে গেল। আগেই জানানো হয়েছে একটু দেরী হবে শুরু হতে সেই হিসাব করেই অর্নব চলে এসেছে। কলজের ছেলে মেয়েরা অর্নব কে ফুল দিয়ে স্বাগতম জানাল। মেয়েগুলা তো অর্নব এর সামনেই এটা ওটা বলা শুরু করল।
অর্নব ভেতরে যেতেই এক মেয়ে বলতে শুরু করল-
ইশ আমি তো আজকে ক্রাশ দোস্ত, এটা তো নায়ক থেকে কোন অংশে কম না। কি বডি, কি চেহারা, কি হাসি।
পাশে থেকেই তার বান্ধুবী বলতে লাগল,
