অর্ধশতাধিক বছর ধরে গোসল না করা ইরানের সেই আমু হাজি মারা গেছেন। বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে ‘নোংরা ব্যক্তি’ হিসেবে গণমাধ্যমে উঠে এসেছিল তার নাম। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৯৪ বছর।বুধবার (২৬) ব্রিটিশ সংবাদমাধ্যম বিবিসির এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।ইরানের দক্ষিণাঞ্চলীয় প্রদেশ ফারসে বসবাস করতেন আমু হাজি। পানি ও সাবান ব্যবহার করলে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়বেন, এই ভয়ে তিনি ৫০ বছরেরও বেশি সময় গোসল করেননি। গ্রামের লোকজন বেশ কয়েকবার তাকে গোসল করানোর চেষ্টা করেও ব্যর্থ হন।

 

তবে স্থানীয় গণমাধ্যমের প্রতিবেদনে বলা হচ্ছে, কয়েক মাস আগে গোসল করতে রাজি জন আমু। আর গোসল করার পর পরই তিনি অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েন। এরপর কয়েক মাস অসুস্থ থাকার পর গত রোববার মারা যান।

 

তেহরান টাইমসের এক প্রতিবেদন অনুযায়ী, বছরের পর বছর গোসল না করায় আমু হাজির ত্বকে পরিবর্তন আসে, চামড়ায় পুঁজের আস্তরণ তৈরি হয়। তার পছন্দের খাবারের মধ্যে ছিল পচা মাংস ও সজারু। গোসল করার জন্য চাপ দেওয়া হলে বা পরিষ্কার পানি পান করতে বললে তিনি মন খারাপ করতেন।

 

আমু হাজির একটি ছবি সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে ভাইরাল হয়েছিল। যেখানে তাকে একসঙ্গে চারটি সিগারেট টানতে দেখা যায়।

 

 

Amu Haji of Iran, who did not bathe for more than half a century, died. His name came up in the media as the dirtiest person in the world. He was 94 years old at the time of his death. This information was reported by the British media BBC on Wednesday (26). Amu Haji lived in the southern province of Fars Iran. He has not bathed in more than 50 years, fearing he will get sick if he uses soap and water. Villagers tried several times to bathe him but failed.

 

However according to local media reports John Amu agreed to take a bath a few months ago. And after taking a bath, he fell ill. He died last Sunday after being ill for a few months.

 

According to a report in Tehran Times, Amu Hajir skin changes due to years of not bathing, a layer of pus forms on the skin. His favorite foods were rotten meat and porcupines. He would get upset when pressured to take a bath or asked to drink clean water.
