It is not possible by human power to win the battle against the omnipotent power of the state, so it is from this idea of ​​their impossibility that the idea of ​​spiritual power towards the leaders in them is conceived. Historical researchers see this particular symptom emerging in the history and political consciousness of the lower classes. They call it religiosity.Due to which, in the history of Santal Rebellion, Sido and Kanhu, the leaders of the rebellion, have termed their struggle as the battle of Tagore. In other words, the Santals' fight with the English is Tagore's fight with the English.

Because of this, ordinary lower class people do not recognize their own power. So they are imagining it to be divine. Perth Chatterjee said that the top power of the pyramid seems to be the divine power to the lower classes who are very close to the ground at the bottom of the pyramid of power.

And because of this many revolts or revolutions of the lower classes of India have taken place against the army under its control or against the local representatives on the pretext of monarchy. This hasn't only happened in India. This has been seen in Russia as well. The common people who were attacked by the Tsar's Cossack forces prayed to the Tsar for justice and revolted in the name of the Tsar.

But the presence of lower class people in the history of the Bengali liberation war period, we were aware of their power and ability. Nevertheless, in the liberation movement of the '71 episode, we noticed a tendency in the consciousness of the lower classes to imagine the greatness and ideals of the gods in their leaders.

This is one of the most successful movements, revolts and revolutions that have taken place in India since the colonial period. Because, the leaders of all other movements have declared rebellion by keeping their workers, the masses in ignorance. Could not make them aware of their just political rights. And so on a large part of their consciousness was obsessed with illusory imagination, which caused them to suffer from confusion about their abilities.
