But molded historiography promotes bias towards the upper class and ignores the participation of the masses, the historical consciousness of the common man. But in order to understand the significance of the national movement, one has to acknowledge the experience of nationalism and the national movement. And in order to gain the experiences of this movement, it is necessary to observe the political consciousness and collective activities of the masses. The first condition or element of every movement is mass gathering.

These rallies are organized by representatives of local people or organizations, and in some cases by private individuals. The peasant movements or revolts that took place and assembled during the Mughal period each had their own group consciousness. Unsatisfied with the oppression of the raiyats, helpless in the intensity of exploitation, the common people have united against the local representatives.But it can be seen that in describing the history of those movements, all the focus of the historian has shifted to Rajput Sardar Durgadas, Samanta Prabhu Pratapaditya or Pratap Singh or Shivaji.

But the section of oriented people of all these movements, the hero of that section was a traditional chief, a poor slave Hada or Banda Bahadur or a slave worker.But the hint of the overall consciousness of those people does not match in the written history. Just as their history was not written during the Mughal period, the people's uprising and nationalist consciousness have been neglected in the history of Birsa Rebellion, August Struggle, Naval Rebellion etc. during the colonial period. The leaders of the movement during the Mughal period or during the British colonial period did not have a clear idea about the governance of the state.

They considered the East India Company as the youngest regime in the Mughal Empire. For this reason, the revolt or assembly led by them started in a way but in the end it was led in a wrong way. It would have been like this. For, the intensity of colonial exploitation would have swallowed and changed the consciousness of those leaders. Hence the differences between the movements oBangladesh:ish colonial period can be noticed more than the movements of the Mughal period.
