9 September 2001 is considered to be the independence day of Afghanistan. Because on this day the leader of Northern Allliance was killed who call the Lion of Panjshir. You must have heard the name of Panjshir valley. This is the same Valley in Afghanistan who did not accept the seizure of Taliban an objected it. The current leader of Panjshir is Ahmad Masood. He is the son martyred Ahmad Shah Masood. It is said that if he was still alive the appearance of Afghanistan would have been something else. The people from the Pankshir valley and Talebans do not share much difference from religious perspective. Ahmad Masood's father also fought against Soviet Union just like Afghan Mujahid. Afghan Mujahids established the Taleban.

According to that if you support Taliban, you should aslo support the national resistance front of Afghanistan from Panjishir Valley but again they do not support Taliban. You cannot just judge this from the religious perspective geopolitical issue is involved. In today's post I will describe the whole matter to you. So let's begain.

We will talk about how Taliban took over Afghanistan and Why? I am pretty sure you have had this hundres times that in the rise of Taliban, There is United States. Let me tell you something in really short.... In the 80's during the cold war, both Soviet Russia and America came to Afghanistan and Soviet Russia said, "We are communist. Hey Afghanistan brother, come to us. We support communism." The other side US said, " No no no, you can't do it. They started giving facilities to Afghanistan to support themselves. Here you two countries are fighting but not in your own country but in another, this type of war is called Proxy War. There are many other examples.

 

From the time of Ronald Reagan, US was giving three types of support to Afghanistan.

1. Military support.
2. Technology support.
3. (most important) Ideological support.

In that time, many Madrasas were built at the Pak Afghan areas where the textbooks contained CI support. The addition subtraction were with the pictures of guns. 5 guns + 5 guns = 10 guns. In English textbooks, J for Jihad was taught. That's how the then US psychologically manipulated the Afghani child for own benefit. So that they fight against Soviet Union by their own. They were quite successful in this.

Why this kind of ideological support is different from others, let me explain.

You may know Aung San Suu Kyi's father. Name Aung San. On 1st August 1943 Japan declared Burma as an independent country an Aung San as the defence Minister and decided to stablish a low power authority government. With the help of Japan, Aung San could establish Burma National Army. But at some point, Aung San left the side of Japan started to support Britain. On 27 March, 1945 , he couped against Japan with the help of UK. On September, 1946 the British declared him as the President of Burma. Notice this very closely. How many British soldiers can you see in Myanmar? At that time this kind of ideological support was not that famous. The terrible side was discovered after the 80s which showed the effect of playing with people's ideology or religious belief.  Here I explained how these two things are different from each other. Ideological support can destory a country pyschologically. 

Even if the then US government was loved by Afghani Mujahids, some point they started hostility. On 2nd August, 1990 Iraq's Saddam Hussein attacked Kuwait. To reply this attack, Saudi Arab asked help from US. At that time, the US soldiers stepped on the holy land of Makkah Medina which Usama Bin Laden could not accept at any cost. That's how the hostility started. At that time CI established a whole force for Osama Bin Laden. He used to somehow escape from them. In the meantime he came to Afghanistan's Jalalabad and then Taliban took over a huge area of Afghanistan. The Majestic leader was Mollah Omar. The seized area was called Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
