The first grain carrier from Ukraine, the Razoni, has left the Turkish coast, bound for Lebanon.

Ukrainian grain ship Razoni is heading towards Tripoli, Lebanon. The first grain ship to leave Ukraine's Odessa port left Turkey for Lebanon on Wednesday. Earlier, the Turkish authorities reviewed whether there were any weapons or ammunition in the ship named Razoni in the port near Istanbul, Turkey.

The observation lasted for about 90 minutes. The ship's monitoring team included officials from Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the United Nations. Last Monday, the ship Razoni left for Tripoli in Lebanon from Odessa port in Ukraine with 26 thousand tons of corn.

Ukraine's ports were blockaded after Russia's military operation began on February 24. However, shipping resumed after the two countries agreed to an agreement brokered by the United Nations and Turkey on July 22. Ankara says several grain ships are docked at different ports in Ukraine. According to the agreement between Russia and Ukraine, one grain ship will leave Ukraine every day.
