জমায়েত ২০১৫ সাল পর্যন্ত একটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রোল প্লে করেছিল কিন্তু পরে তারাও থেমে গিয়েছিল।২০১৫ সাল পর্যন্ত তারা যথেষ্ট চেষ্টা চালিয়েছে। বিশেষ করে তাদের নেতাদেরকে যখন যুদ্ধের বিচারের নামে ফাঁসিতে ঝুলানো হয়েছিল। আমরা অন্যান্য দলকেও ছোট করবো কেন তারা হয়তো সংখ্যায় কম। কিন্তু তারপরও জনসংখ্যার দিক থেকে বলছি কর্মী সংখ্যার দিক থেকে বলছি হয়তো কম। অনেকগুলো দল অনেকগুলো জনগণ নিয়ে তারাও মাঠে ছিল। গণতন্ত্র মন্ত্র খুব হাইবলিভাবে মাঠে ছিল। তারা যথেষ্ট ভালো পারফরম্যান্স করেছে এবারে ২৩ সালের শেষের অংশ যখন নির্বাচনের আগে আর কেউ মাঠে ছিল না। কিন্তু তখনও গণতন্ত্র মঞ্চ সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে মাঠে ছিল। যেভাবে বলছে এটা লম্বা একটা লড়াইয়ের ইতিহাস। এখন মূল কথায় আসি বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার জায়গাটা কোথায়।
