দুই দেশ পরস্পর রাষ্ট্রদূতকে ডেকে এর সীমান্তের সমস্যা নিয়ে কথা বলেছে আলোচনা করেছে এবং জবাবদিহিতা চাইছে৷ তারমানে ব্যাপারটা অফিশিয়ালি চলে গেছে। আসলে মূল সমস্যাটা তৈরি হয়েছিল ভারতের কাঁটাতারের বেড়া দেয়া নিয়ে। আন্তর্জাতিক সীমানা আইন হচ্ছে শুন্য রেখা থেকে ১৫০ গজ খালি জায়গা রাখতে হয় এরপরে কাঁটাতারের বেডা দিতে পারে। বাংলাদেশের বর্ডার গার্ড বিজিবি অভিযোগ করেছে ভারত শূন্য রেখায় তাদের কাঁটাতারের বেড়া দিচ্ছে। যেহেতু বিএসএফ আন্তর্জাতিক সীমানা আইন লংঘন করেছে সেই জায়গাগুলোতে বিজিবি বাধা দিয়েছে। বিজিবির বাজার মুখে কোন কোন জায়গায় ভারত কাঠাতারের বেডা দিতে পারেনি।

The two countries have called each other's ambassadors to discuss the border issue and are seeking accountability. That means the matter has gone official. In fact, the main problem was created by India's barbed wire fencing. The international border law is that 150 yards of empty space should be kept from the zero line before barbed wire can be installed. Bangladesh's border guard BGB has complained that India is installing barbed wire fencing on the zero line. Since the BSF has violated the international border law, the BGB has blocked those places. India could not install barbed wire in some places in front of the BGB market.
