Assalamu Alaikum, wishing everyone a good evening and good night, I am writing to give you today's regular post. I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah Almighty. Alhamdulillah, we are also well by the grace of Allah Almighty with everyone's prayers.
Friends, today I have brought you a gift, "Random Photography of Wild-Grown "Ushni Shak" Wild Flowers". Basically, this is a macro photography form. Some of the pictures have been captured with the macro lens of a mobile phone.
This is a wild-grown plant. In rural areas, especially in our region, it is called Hushani Shak. Its proper name is "Ushni" Shak. Although its name is Ushni Shak, I have not seen anyone eating it in my area till date.
Although it is found everywhere in the Indian subcontinent, I do not know in which area it is eaten. The botanical and scientific name of this vegetable is Acmella oleracea. These vegetables usually grow wild in water channels, damp places, etc. around the house.
Its characteristic is the yellow cone-shaped flower. Each flower has many flower buds in a group. Later, the flower buds turn into seeds. The seeds are long and black in color. As many flower buds as are seen in this flower, they are seen as full-fledged seeds. This plant is not eaten by cows and goats. However, nowadays some giant chickens eat its leaves. It is a herbaceous plant.
