Rose Flower

The rose is a well-known flower that is revered by modern people as a symbol of beauty and love. The rose is called the queen of flowers. The Rosa genus Rosaea is a type of shrub with rose flowers. There are about 100 species of roses of different colors. The shape and layout of rose petals has a uniform aesthetic that attracts people. The scent of fragrant roses is also a favorite of the people. However, roses do not have their own scent. Roses have no ability to produce odors. Roses of many colors are born, such as pink, red, yellow, white, green, etc. In the meantime, various hybrid roses called "Garden Rose" are also being produced. Which can be two or more colors in the petals of the same flower at the same time.

 

 

The rose is a flower that has closely associated itself with many civilizations of the past. The rose is known not only as a popular flower, but also as a symbol of love, affection, beauty and perfection. Roses are the queen of flowers. In painting, architecture or music we are very accustomed to seeing pictures of roses or hearing their names. Not only that, the etiquette of heroism has a special place in the rose. The main attraction of the rose is its flowers. Varieties of white, pink, yellow, dark red, brown are the characteristics of modern roses. Many new hybrids of beautiful mixed colors are being created. Out of a total of 150 species, no more than nine species have been used for hybridization.

 

Babu Shri Natun Chandra Dey was a prominent rose lover of Baraitali. He was a zamindar. In 1890-1900, Baraitali has become memorable among us by creating a beautiful rose garden in his own house. Talking to his grandson Babu Shri Sajal Chanda Dey, it is learned that Dada Natun Chandra Dey himself collected saplings of different species from Calcutta and Dhaka and made a garden in his backyard and took care of it himself. Towards the end of the twentieth century, the late Maruf Rabban Qaderi, another rose-loving Baraitali deputy, collected improved rose-colored rose saplings from Calcutta and Dhaka and established another amateur garden in his house.How to get there:

 

As you enter the Baraitali Union on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway, you can see lots of rose gardens on both sides of the road. Just roses and rose ceremonies on the east side of the road.
