So, they used to given daily , especially , necessities , chess and food to the corpses. The head for the tomb was responsible for protecting the corpses and its utensils from robbers. But pyramids were also built to show how much wealth and power the person buried in the grave.So the corpses of the pharaohs were buried with huge treasures. Valuables were also given to the graves of the wealthy of the society. Even in the graves of lower class people, even a small amount of food was left.
