As a child, I heard from my grandmother.

ছোটবেলায় শুনেছিলাম দাদী মার কাছে,

রাক্ষস রাজার জেলখানাতে,

বন্দী হয়ে আছে এক রাজকুমারী,

তারপর রাক্ষস বধ করে এক রাজ কুমার,

উড়িয়ে হাওয়ার রথ নিয়ে গেল রাজকুমারী,

আজও রয়েছে রাক্ষস রাজ,মানুষ পাওয়ার লোভ,

আজ স্বনির্ভর রাজকুমারী, ভাবতে নেই তো ক্ষোভ,

নেই দরকার রাজার কুমার,নারী আজকে স্বাধীন,

সমাজ গেছে বদলে অনেক,আমরা জানি সবাই,

বুদ্ধিমতী,তেজস্বিনী, সাবলম্বী হয়েছে সাজ,

নারী এখন পুরুষ সমান,ঘরের বাহিরে নেই ভেদ,

ভাবতেও অবাক লাগে,কি অদম্য জেদ তাদের,

নারীই মা,নারীই স্ত্রী, নারীই তো হল করুনাময়ী,

অন্যায়ের মুখোমুখি নারী ই আবার বিদ্রোহিনী।

A princess is taken captive,

Then one Raj Kumar killed the demon,

The princess flew away with the chariot of the wind,

Even today there is a demon kingdom, greed for power,

Self-reliant princess today, do not think anger,

No need for Rajar Kumar, women are free today,

Society has changed a lot, we all know,

Wise, energetic, supportive,

Women are now equal to men, there is no difference outside the home,

It's amazing to think, what an indomitable stubbornness they are,

Woman is mother, woman is wife, woman is merciful,

Women who face injustice are rebels again.
