Special prayers organized on the occasion of 15th August National Day of Mourning // ১৫ই আগস্ট জাতীয় শোক দিবস উপলক্ষে বিশেষ দোয়ার আয়োজন

Today is August 15th, National Mourning Day is observed every year on this day in Bangladesh. In the calendar of Bangladesh, some days are marked with a star, among them this day is one. Days marked with a star are specially observed, and these days are public holidays. All government and private institutions are closed on these days.

Today, 15th August, National Day of Mourning is observed all over Bangladesh. On this day, the flag is hoisted in the morning and the flag is kept at half-mast. There is a special rule for keeping the flag at half-mast, following that rule the flag is kept at half-mast. Flags are kept at half-mast in all establishments, and will remain so till evening.

In the morning, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina offered flowers at Bangabandhu's grave and organized special prayers. Various programs are organized to observe this mourning day in all institutions of Bangladesh, especially government institutions. As a part of that, a special program was organized in our madrasa on the occasion of National Mourning Day.

Today in our Madrasa, on the occasion of the National Day of Mourning on 15th August, the first part of the program was recitation of Quran Sharif followed by a discussion about Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family, and also about those who killed them. Then on August 15, Bangabandhu and all the martyred members of his family were remembered with deep respect. After that a prayer was made for all of them.

Today's program organized on the occasion of 15th August National Mourning Day was attended by the president of our madrasa, Mr. Prof. Azizur Rahman, our madrasa's founding secretary Samchul Alam, all the teachers of our madrasa, and all the students were also present in the program. Today was a holiday and students attended a little less.

Note that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all his family members were killed on August 15, 1975. On this day, the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehena survived because they were outside the country. All the members of Bangabandhu's family except these two were brutally shot dead, on that day Bangabandhu's youngest son Sheikh Russell who was only ten years old was also killed.

On August 15, 1975, a scandal was created in Bangladesh. The group of assassins planned and brutally killed Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all his family members. The people of Bangladesh will never be able to bear this grief, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, even today talks about that day and starts crying.

হ্যালো বন্ধুগন আপনারা সবাই কেমন আছেন? আশা করি আপনারা সবাই অনেক ভাল আছেন এবং সুস্থ আছেন, আমিও আপনাদের দোয়া এবং সৃষ্টিকর্তার রহমতে অনেক ভাল আছি।

আজকে ১৫ই আগস্ট, আমাদের বাংলাদেশে প্রতি বছর এই দিনে জাতীয় শোক দিবস পালন করা হয়। বাংলাদেশের ক্যালেন্ডারে কয়েকটা দিনকে তারকা চিহ্নিত করে রাখা হয়েছে, তার মধ্যে আজকের এই দিন একটা। তারকা চিহ্নিত দিনগুলো বিশেষ ভাবে পালন করা হয়, এবং এই দিনগুলো সরকারি ছুটি থাকে। সকল সরকারি এবং বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠান এই দিনগুলো বন্ধ রাখা হয়।

আজকে ১৫ই আগস্ট, জাতীয় শোক দিবসে বাংলাদেশের সকল জায়গা বিশেষ ভাবে পালন করা হয়। আজকের দিনে সকালে পতাকা উত্তোলন করা হয় এবং পতাকা অর্ধনমিত করে রাখা হয়। পতাকা অর্ধনমিত করে রাখা একটা বিশেষ নিয়ম আছে, সেই নিয়ম অনুসরণ করেই পতাকা অর্ধনমিত করা হয়ে থাকে। সকল প্রতিষ্ঠানে পতাকা অর্ধনমিত করে রাখা হয়, এবং এটা সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত থাকবে।

সকালে বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বঙ্গবন্ধুর কবরে পুষ্প অর্পণ করেন এবং বিশেষ দোয়ার আয়োজন করে। বাংলাদেশের সকল প্রতিষ্ঠানে বিশেষ করে সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানে আজকের এই শোক দিবস পালনের জন্য বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। তারই অংশ হিসেবে আমাদের মাদ্রাসায় জাতীয় শোক দিবস উপলক্ষে বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।

আজকে আমাদের মাদ্রাসায় ১৫ই আগস্ট জাতীয় শোক দিবস উপলক্ষে অনুষ্ঠানের প্রথমেই কুরআন শরীফ তেলাওয়াত করা হয় এরপর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান এবং তার পরিবার নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়, এবং তাদের যারা হত্যা করেছে তাদের নিয়েও আলোচনা করা হয়। এরপর ১৫ই আগস্ট বঙ্গবন্ধু এবং তার পরিবারের সকল শহীদ সদস্যদের গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করা হয়। এরপর তাদের সকলের জন্য দোয়া করা হয়।

১৫ই আগস্ট জাতীয় শোক দিবস উপলক্ষে আয়োজিত আজকের অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আমাদের মাদ্রাসার সভাপতি জনাব প্রফেসর আজিজুর রহমান, আজকের অনুষ্ঠানে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন আমাদের মাদ্রাসার স্বাধারণ সম্পাদক সামছুল আলম, অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আমাদের মাদ্রাসার সকল শিক্ষকগন, এবং সকল ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা। আজকে ছুটি মনে করে ছাত্র-ছাত্রী কিছু কম উপস্থিত হয়েছিল।

উল্লেখ্য ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ই আগস্ট বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান এবং তার পরিবার সকল সদস্যকে হত্যা করা হয়। এই দিন বাংলাদেশের বর্তমান প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা এবং তার বোন শেখ রেহেনা দেশের বাহিরে থাকার কারণে প্রাণে বেঁচে যান। এই দুইজন ব্যতীত বঙ্গবন্ধু পরিবারের সকল সদস্যকে নির্মম ভাবে গুলি করে হত্যা করা হয়, ঐ দিন বঙ্গবন্ধুর ছোট ছেলে শেখ রাসেল যার বয়স ছিল মাত্র দশ বছর তাকেও হত্যা করা হয়।

১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ই আগস্ট বাংলাদেশে এক কলঙ্ক রচিত হয়। ঘাতকের দল পরিকল্পিত ভাবে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান এবং তার পরিবার সকল সদস্যকে নির্মম ভাবে হত্যা করে। বাংলাদেশের মানুষ এই শোক কখনও সহ্য করতে পারবে না, বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা আজও সেই দিনের কথা বলে চোখের ছেড়ে দিয়ে কান্না শুরু করেন।
