One should comment on a subject knowing it fully // কোন বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে জেনে মন্তব্য করা উচিত

One should not comment on a subject without complete knowledge. There are many of us who comment without fully knowing something, or comment about a person without knowing, this should not be done. Because our eyes are sometimes not right, maybe what we see is not right, there may be something else inside.

One such incident happened to me, a student came to me in our madrasa and said that another student had killed him, the student who had killed him had gone home that day, I then told him to come and I will judge him tomorrow. Hearing this, the student left.

The next day two students came to the madrasa, I called both of them to me, called them and asked what happened yesterday? Then both of them told their complaints, what I understood after listening to both of them is that the one who told me yesterday is more guilty. Because he killed someone else before. Now if I were to judge just by listening to one person it would never be right.

One should be fully aware of all such matters and make any comment and take a decision on any matter. If you make a decision without knowing everything about something, it will always be wrong. Because when a story is heard from both sides, the true purpose of that story is known. And if that incident is heard only from one side then that incident will not be fully known.

When a judgment is given in a court, both sides of the case must be fully heard, witnesses from both sides are presented, the judge of that court hears fully from the witnesses of both sides and then pronounces the verdict. When both parties give correct information and produce truthful witnesses, the correct verdict will come out of the trial.

For this reason we should decide on a matter knowing full well and decide on that matter knowing full well.

হ্যালো বন্ধুগন আপনারা সবাই কেমন আছেন? আশা করি আপনারা সবাই অনেক ভাল আছেন এবং সুস্থ আছেন, আমিও আপনাদের দোয়া এবং সৃষ্টিকর্তার রহমতে অনেক ভাল আছি।

কোন বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ না জেনে ঐ বিষয়ে মন্তব্য করা উচিত নয়। আমাদের মাঝে অনেকেই আছে যারা কোন বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ না জেনেই মন্তব্য করে থাকে, বা কোন ব্যক্তির ব্যাপারে না জেনেই মন্তব্য করে ফেলে, এই রকম করা উচিত নয়। কারণ আমাদের চোখের দেখা অনেক সময় ঠিক হয় না, হয়ত আমরা যা দেখছি সেটা ঠিক নয়, তার ভিতরে অন্য কিছু থাকতে পারে।

আমার সাথে এই রকম একটা ঘটনা ঘটেছিল, আমাদের মাদ্রাসায় এক ছাত্র আমার কাছে এসে বলল যে, আরেকজন ছাত্র তাকে মেরেছে, যে ছাত্র মেরেছে সে ঐদিন ছুটি নিয়ে বাড়ি চলে গিয়েছিল, আমি তখন বললাম যে সে আসুক আগামীকাল তার বিচার করব। এই কথা শুনে ঐ ছাত্র চলে গেল।

পরেরদিন দুই ছাত্র মাদ্রাসায় আসল, আমি দুইজনকেই আমার কাছে ডাকলাম, তাদেরকে কাছে ডেকে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম গতকাল কি হয়েছিল? তখন দুইজনই তাদের অভিযোগ বলল, দুইজনের কথা শুনে যা বুঝলাম তা হচ্ছে, গতকাল যে আমার কাছে বলেছিল তার দোষ বেশি। কারণ সে আগে অন্যজনকে মেরেছিল। এখন আমি যদি শুধু একজনের কথা শুনে বিচার করতাম তাহলে কখনও ঠিক হত না।

এই রকম সব বিষয়েই পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে জেনে কোন মন্তব্য করা উচিত এবং কোন বিষয়ের সিদ্ধান্ত নিলে ঐ বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে জানতে হবে। কোন বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে না জেনে সিদ্ধান্ত নিলে সেই সিদ্ধান্তের মধ্যে সব সময়ই ভুল হবে। কারণ একটা ঘটনা যখন দুই পক্ষ থেকে শোনা হয় তখন সেই ঘটনার আসল উদ্দেশ্য জানা যায়। আর যদি ঐ ঘটনা শুধু এক পক্ষের থেকে শোনা হয় তাহলে ঐ ঘটনাটা পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে জানা যাবে না।

কোন আদালতে যখন কোন বিচারের রায় দেওয়া তখন অবশ্যই সেই বিষয়ের উভয় পক্ষ থেকে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে শোনা হয়, উভয় পক্ষের থেকে সাক্ষী উপস্থিত করা হয়, ঐ আদালতের বিচারক দুই পক্ষের সাক্ষীদের থেকে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে শুনে তারপর বিচারের রায় ঘোষণা করে। উভয় পক্ষ যখন সঠিক তথ্য দেয় এবং সত্য সাক্ষী উপস্থাপন করে তখন ঐ বিচারের সঠিক রায় আসবে।

এই জন্য আমাদের উচিত কোন বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে জেনে ঐ বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া এবং কোন বিষয়ে পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে জেনে ঐ বিষয়ের উপর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া।
