গল্প থেকে শিক্ষা (গরু আর গাধা) Lessons from the story (cows and donkeys)

এক কৃষকের একটা গরু আর একটা গাধা ছিল । কৃষক গরু দিয়ে হাল চাষ করত আর গাধা দিয়ে বোঝা আনা নেওয়া করত, মাঝে মাঝে গরু দিয়েও বোঝা আনা নেওয়ার কাজ করত ।

কৃষক একবার গরু দিয়ে সারাদিন হাল চাষ করাল । সন্ধ্যার পর যখন গরু আর গাধা এক সাথে হল, তখন গরু কি যেন বিড়বিড় করে বলতে লাগল । গাধা জিজ্ঞেস করল মনে মনে কি বলছ? গরু বলল তুমি তো আরামে আছো, বোঝা আনা নেওয়া করা ব্যতীত আর কোন কাজ নাই তোমার । আর আমি বোঝা আনা নেওয়া করি আবার সারাদিন হাল চাষ করে ক্লান্ত হয়ে যাই ।

গাধা তখন বলল, আমি তোমাকে একটা বুদ্ধি দিতে পারি, যেটা শুনলে তোমার খুব উপকার হবে । গরু বলল গাধার আবার বুদ্ধি! গাধা বলল শুনলে তোমার অনেক কাজে আসবে । গরু বলল আচ্ছা ঠিক আছে বলো ।গাধা বলল আগামীকাল যখন কৃষক আসবে তুমি অসুস্থ হওয়ার ভান করে থাকবে, তোমাকে অসুস্থ দেখে কৃষক চলে যাবে তুমিও বেচে যাবে।

পরেরদিন কৃষক যখন আসল, গরু তখন অসুস্থতার ভান করে বসে পরল, কৃষক অনেকক্ষণ চেষ্টা করে যখন গরুকে উঠাতে পারলো না তখন গাধাকে নিয়ে গেল হাল চাষ করার জন্য। গাধা এক বেলা হাল চাষ করেই ক্লান্ত হয়ে গেল । এবার গাধাও অসুস্থতার ভান করে মাটিতে পরে গেল । কৃষক লাঠি দিয়ে পিটিয়ে গাধাকে উঠিয়ে আবার চাষ শুরু করে দিল ।

সন্ধ্যার পর যখন গরু আর গাধা একত্রিত হল তখন গাধা চিন্তা করল আরেকটা বুদ্ধি বের করা দরকার। গাধা একটা বুদ্ধি বের করে গরুকে বলল, কৃষক তার এক বন্ধুকে বলছে গরুটা অসুস্থ আগামীকাল তাকে জবেহ করে ফেলব । গরু এ কথা শুনে লাফ দিয়ে উঠল আর বলল আগামীকাল কৃষক আসলে আমি আগেই সুস্থ হয়ে যাব ।

পরেরদিন যখন কৃষক আসল গরু এক লাফে উঠে পরল। কৃষক তখন গরু আর গাধা দুইটাকে নিয়েই হাল চাষ করতে গেল । আর তার ছেলেকে বলল আজ থেকে এই দুইটাকে দিয়েই হাল চাষ করব ।

গাধা তখন মনে মনে বলল নিজের বুদ্ধিতে নিজেই ধরা খেলাম, এই জন্য অন্যকে খারাপ বুদ্ধি দিতে নেই ।

এই গল্প থেকে আমরা দুইটা জিনিস শিখতে পারে ।

১/ অন্যকে মন্দ বুদ্ধি দিতে নাই এবং অন্যের মন্দ বুদ্ধি শুনতে নাই ।

২/ আমাদের যার যে কাজ তাকে সেই কাজই করা প্রয়োজন।

One farmer had a cow and a donkey. Farmers used to plow with oxen and carry loads with donkeys, sometimes they also used to carry loads with cows.

The farmer once plowed the whole day with cows. When the cow and the donkey came together in the evening, the cow muttered something. The donkey asked, "What are you talking about?" The cow said you are comfortable, you have no choice but to carry the burden. And I get tired of plowing again all day and get tired.

The donkey then said, "I can give you an idea, which will be very useful for you to hear." The cow said the donkey's intellect again! The donkey said that hearing it would be of great use to you. The cow said, "All right, tell me." The donkey said, "When the farmer comes tomorrow, you will be pretending to be sick.

The next day when the farmer was real, the cow sat down pretending to be sick, the farmer tried for a long time and when he could not lift the cow he took the donkey to plow. The donkey got tired of plowing one day. This time the donkey also pretended to be sick and went to the ground. The farmer beat the donkey with a stick, lifted the donkey and started farming again.

Later in the evening, when the cow and the donkey got together, the donkey thought another trick was needed. The donkey came up with an idea and said to the cow, the farmer is telling one of his friends that the cow is sick and I will kill him tomorrow. On hearing this, the cow jumped up and said, "Tomorrow, the farmer will actually get well sooner."

The next day when the farmer the real cow jumped up. The farmer then went to plow with cows and a donkey. And he told his son that from today I will cultivate the land with these two.

The donkey then said in his mind, I caught myself in my own intellect, for this I don't have to give bad intellect to others.

We can learn two things from this story.

 1 / Do not give evil intellect to others and do not listen to the evil intellect of others.

 2 / We need to do the work that we do.
