বিসমিল্লাহির রহমানির রহিম
তুমি জমিন ওয়ালাদের উপর দয়া করো,
আসমান ওয়ালা তোমার উপর দয়া করবেন ।
এই দুনিয়াতে বসবাস করতে হলে উপরের কথাটা মনে রাখতে হবে, কথাটা খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ । এই দুনিয়াতে যত প্রাণী বসবাস করে প্রত্যেক প্রাণীর উপর দয়া করতে হবে । অর্থাৎ সব সৃষ্টি জীবের প্রাপ্ত হক্ব আদায় করতে হবে । কোন প্রাণীর উপর অন্যায় ভাবে জুলুম করলে তার উপর অভিশাপ নেমে আসবে, যে অভিশাপ তার ক্ষতির কারণ হবে ।
আমরা বনি ইসরাইল এর এক নষ্ট মহিলার কথা জানি, যাকে একটা পিপাসার্ত কুকুরকে পানি পান করানোর কারণে মাফ করে দেওয়া হয়েছিল । বনি ইসরাইল এর আর একজন মহিলা ছিল, সে ছিল খুব দ্বীনদার । তার কাছে একটা বিড়াল ছিল সে ঐ বিড়ালটাকে ঠিক খাবার দিত না, এই কারণে তাকে আযাব দেওয়া হয়েছিল ।
হজরত অমর রাঃ এর জামানায় একসময় বন্যা হয়েছিল ঐ বন্যাতে একটা কুকুর মারা গিয়েছিল । এই জন্য অমর রাঃ কান্না করছিলেন আর বলছিলেন, আমার রাজত্ব চলার সময় বন্যায় একটা কুকুর মারা গেল, আল্লাহ্ তায়ালা যদি এই কুকুর সম্পর্কে আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আমি কি উত্তর দিব ।
একবার এক সাহাবী একটা মা পাখি ধরে নিয়ে আসলেন । রসুলুল্লাহ সাঃ দেখেই পাখিটাকে ছেড়ে দিতে বললেন । সাহাবী পাখিটা ছেড়ে দিলেন তখন রসুলুল্লাহ সাঃ বললেন তুমি যে পাখিটাকে ধরে নিয়ে এসেছো, তুমি কি জানো এই পাখির বাচ্চা গুলো তার জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে এবং বাচ্চা গুলো ক্ষুধার্ত । এই পাখিটা খাবার নিয়ে গেলেই বাচ্চা গুলো খাবার খেতে পারবো ।
আমরা অনেক সময় কোন প্রাণী সামনে পরলে অহেতুক ঐ প্রাণীকে কষ্ট দিয়ে থাকি । রাস্তায় কুকুর দেখলে ঢিল ছুঁড়ে থাকি বা বিড়াল দেখলে লাথি মেরে থাকি, এগুলি সবই অন্যায় । কিছু কিছু হিংস্র প্রাণীর আক্রমণ থেকে বাঁচতে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা যেতে পারে কিন্তু অন্যায় ভাবে কাউকে আঘাত করা ঠিক হবে না ।
এখন শীতকাল, এই শীতকালে আমাদের দেশে বিভিন্ন প্রকার পাখি এসে থাকে, যেগুলোকে আমরা অতিথি পাখি বলে থাকি । এই পাখি গুলো আমাদের বিভিন্ন রকম উপকার করে থাকে । এই পাখি গুলির দ্বারা আমাদের দেশের সৌন্দর্য বৃদ্ধি পায় ।
তাই আসুন আমরা অন্যায় ভাবে পশু পাখির ক্ষতি করা থেকে বিরত থাকি । অতিথি পাখি ধরা থেকে বিরত থাকি ।

We know of a lost woman in Israel who was forgiven for giving water to a thirsty dog. There was another woman from Israel who was very religious. He had a cat, and he was punished for not feeding it properly.
Once upon a time there was a flood in the time of Hazrat Amar R. A dog died in that flood. For this Amar r was crying and saying, a dog died in the flood during my reign, if Allah Ta'ala asks me about this dog, what shall I answer.
Once a disciple brought a mother bird. Rasulullah saw the bird and told him to let go. When the Companions let go of the bird, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Do you know that the birds you have captured are waiting for him and the children are hungry?" As soon as this bird takes food, the children will be able to eat it.
Many times when we put an animal in front of us, we unnecessarily hurt that animal. When I see a dog on the street, I throw stones or when I see a cat, it is all wrong. Measures can be taken to avoid being attacked by some ferocious animals but it would not be right to hurt someone unjustly.
Now it is winter, in this winter different types of birds come to our country, which we call guest birds. These birds do us a lot of good. The beauty of our country is enhanced by these birds.
So let us refrain from harming animals and birds in an unjust manner. I refrain from catching guest birds.
