বর্তমান পৃথিবীতে মন্দ মানুষের সংখ্যা বেশি, ভাল মানুষ খুঁজে পাওয়া খুব কঠিন, অধিকাংশ মানুষ শুধু অন্য মানুষকে ধোঁকা দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করে। আর অন্য মানুষকে ধোঁকা দিতে পারলেই নিজেকে অনেক বুদ্ধিমান মনে করে। সে এটা মনে করে না যে সে কাউকে ধোঁকা দিয়ে নিজেই ধোঁকায় পরবে।

পৃথিবীতে এখনও অনেক ভাল মানুষ আছে, মানুষ ভাল হয় তার ভাল কাজের মাধ্যমে এবং সুন্দর কথার মাধ্যমে। ভাল মানুষ সব সময়ই অন্য মানুষের সাথে ভাল ব্যবহার করে এবং ভাল কাজ করার চেষ্টা করে। মানুষের ভাল ব্যবহার এবং ভাল কাজের মাধ্যমে পৃথিবীতে স্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকে।

ভাল মানুষ মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমে এই দুনিয়া থেকে চলে গেলেও দুনিয়ার মানুষ তাকে যুগযুগ ধরে মনে রাখে, তার ভাল কাজ নিয়ে মানুষ আলোচনা করে, তার ভাল ব্যবহারে সবাই সন্তুষ্ট হয়, এবং মৃত্যুর পরেও তার কথা বলতে থাকে যে, ঐ লোকটা খুব ভাল ছিল এবং তার ব্যবহার খুব ভাল ছিল। যারা ভাল মানুষ হয় এই পৃথিবীতে তাদের বন্ধুর কোন অভাব হয় না।

আজকে আমাদের চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলার বালিয়াডাঙা কবরস্থানের দায়িত্বরত কর্মকর্তা মারা গেছেন, সে দীর্ঘদিন এই কবরস্থানের দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছিলেন, আজকে তার জানাজা নামজে হাজারো মানুষ উপস্থিত হয়েছিলেন, সবার মুখে একটাই কথা সে খুব ভাল মানুষ ছিলেন।

আজকে তার ভাল মানুষ হওয়ার একটা ছোট ঘটনা শুনলাম, তা হচ্ছে, সে যখন খাবার খেত তখন তার আশেপাশে অনেক পাখি এসে জমা হয়ে যেত,সে তার খাবার থেকে অর্ধেক খাবার পাখিদের দিতেন, পাখিরা তার সাথে খাবার খেত, প্রতিদিন সে এই কাজ করত এবং প্রতিদিন অনেক পাখি তার কাছে আসত, সে সব পাখিকে খাবার খাওতেন। পাখির সংখ্যা বেশির হওয়ার পর সে কম খাবার খেতেন আর পাখিদের বেশি খাবার দিতেন।

আজকে তার জানাজা নামাজে যত মানুষ হয়েছে ইতিপূর্বে এই জায়গাতে কোন জানাজায় এত মানুষ উপস্থিত হয় নাই। সে সবার সাথে হাসিমুখে কথা বলতেন, আমি ব্যক্তিগত ভাবে তার সাথে অনেকবার কথা বলেছি এবং তার ব্যবহারে মুগ্ধ হয়েছি। এই রকম ভাল মানুষদের জন্য পৃথিবীর সৌন্দর্য আজও টিকে আছে। আমাদেরও উচিত ভাল কাজ করা এবং মানুষের সাথে ভাল ব্যবহার করা।
