But the leader complained that the poor were neglected there.
Seven MLAs resign in three days:
Among the leaders and ministers who have left the BJP in the last three days is Swami Prasad Maurya. On the one hand he was such a cabinet minister, on the other hand he was an OBC leader.
BJP MLA Avtar Singh Bhandara left on Wednesday. He has joined the Samajwadi Party's ally Rashtriya Lok Dal.
Also resigned are three BJP MLAs, Brajesh Prajapati of Tindari, Roshanlal Burma of Tilhar and Bhagwati Sagar of Bilhaur.
Bidhuna MLA Binoy Kumar Shakya also resigned from the party on Tuesday.
However, this situation is not one-sided. Two MLAs, Naresh Saini of the Congress and Hariom Yadav of the Samajwadi Party, have joined the BJP.
