Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has recovered 1 kg of crystal meth ice worth Tk 5 crore from two CNG passenger bags. The two passengers were also detained at the time. The arrested are Syedul Amin, 34, son of late Fayez Ahmed of Kutupalong area of Ukhia upazila and Farhad son of late Ilias of the same area.
Crystal meth ice was recovered during a search at Goalia, a short distance from the BGB's Ramu Battalion's Maricha Joint Checkpost in Cox's Bazar, around 7:15 pm on Friday.
