Dear readers Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah how are you all I hope all are well by the grace of Allah I am also well by your prayers and the infinite mercy of Allah.
Today's story is about "Felix the Fox and the Clever Cocks".
Once upon a time, in a cozy little forest, lived a cunning fox named Felix. He was known throughout the woodland for his sly tricks and clever schemes. However, Felix wasn't content with just any meal; he had a particular fondness for juicy rooster.
In the same forest, there was a tight-knit group of three roosters: Red, Cluck, and Feathers. They were the most vigilant and sharp-witted roosters around, always on the lookout for danger.
One sunny morning, Felix hatched a plan to catch one of them. He knew he had to outsmart these clever roosters. So, he began by pretending to be a friendly and harmless creature.
Felix approached the roosters with a smile. "Good morning, my fine feathered friends," he greeted them. "I've heard so much about your intelligence. I thought we could be friends."
The roosters eyed him cautiously. Red, the eldest and wisest, spoke first. "We don't trust foxes, Felix. You've got a reputation, you know."
Felix chuckled, trying to appear sincere. "I understand your concerns, but I've changed my ways. I just want some companionship."
Cluck and Feathers exchanged glances, not entirely convinced. "Well," Cluck said cautiously, "if you truly mean no harm, we can consider your offer."
Felix spent days with the roosters, sharing stories and pretending to be their friend. Little did they know, he was plotting his next move. One evening, he suggested a game of hide and seek.
Red, Cluck, and Feathers agreed, thinking it would be a fun way to bond with their new acquaintance. Felix volunteered to be the seeker. The roosters scattered into the forest, while Felix closed his eyes and began counting.
As soon as Felix started counting, Red whispered to the others, "This fox can't be trusted. Let's use our wits to outsmart him."
They quietly crept through the underbrush, making their way back to their cozy coop. There, they gathered their courage and began to crow loudly, creating a cacophony that echoed through the forest.
Felix, still counting, heard the noise and panicked. He rushed back to the coop, thinking he had caught one of the roosters. But when he arrived, all he found were three clever roosters, safe and sound, crowing with delight.
The cunning fox had been outwitted by the clever cocks. Felix realized that friendship built on trust was more valuable than a quick meal. He left the forest, never to bother the roosters again.
From that day on, Red, Cluck, and Feathers continued to watch out for each other, using their intelligence to protect their coop from any potential threats. And as for Felix the Fox, he learned that true friendship couldn't be gained through deceit and cunning but through honesty and trust.
And so, in the cozy little forest, the clever cocks and the sly fox each found their own lessons in friendship and trust, living peacefully side by side.
