My greetings to all of you who are reading this post of mine at the moment (Assalamu Alaikum).I hope you are very well, and I hope your family members are well and healthy.So, in today's post, I will present to you some information about * Lalbagh Fort *, one of the most ancient archeological sites in Bangladesh.I hope you like today's post ........

 

 

লালবাগ কেল্লা ঢাকার বুড়িগঙ্গা নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত। এটি একটি মুঘল স্থাপত্য। এটি মূলত একটি অসমাপ্ত মুঘল স্থাপত্য। লালবাগ কেল্লার প্রাক্তন নাম ছিল আওরঙ্গবাদ। পরবর্তীতে, ১৮৪৪ সালে এর নাম পরিবর্তন করে লালবাগ কেল্লা দেওয়া হয়। 

 

 

Lalbagh Fort is located on the banks of the river Buriganga in Dhaka. It is a Mughal architecture. It is basically an unfinished Mughal architecture.The former name of Lalbagh fort was Aurangabad.Later, in 1844, its name was changed to Lalbagh Fort.

 

 

 

সম্রাট আওরঙ্গজেবের এর ৩য় পুএ ছিলেন , মুঘল সুবাদার মুহাম্মদ আজম শাহ্। মুঘল সুবাদার মুহাম্মদ আজম শাহ্ ছিলেন বাংলার সুবাদার। তিনি বাংলায় ১৫ মাস ছিলেন। তার হাত ধরে ১৬৭৮ সালে লালবাগ কেল্লার নির্মাণ কাজ শুরু হয়। কিন্তুু, লালবাগ কেল্লার নির্মাণ কাজের মাঝ পথে সম্রাট আওরঙ্গজেব মারাঠা বিদ্রোহ দমানোর জন্য, সুবাদার মুহাম্মদ আজম শাহ্কে তার কাছে ডাকে। এর ফলে সুবাদার মুহাম্মদ আজম শাহ্ লালাবাগ কেল্লার নির্মাণ কাজ সম্পূর্ণ করতে পারেনি। 

 

 

Emperor Aurangzeb had his 3rd son, Mughal subaddar Muhammad Azam Shah.The Mughal subaddar Muhammad Azam Shah was the subadar of Bengal.He was in Bengal for 15 months.The construction work of Lalbagh fort started with his hand in 18.However, in the middle of the construction of Lalbagh fort, Emperor Aurangzeb summoned Subaddar Muhammad Azam Shah to suppress the Maratha rebellion.

 

 

পরবর্তীতে, সুবাদারদা মুহাম্মদ আজম শাহ্ এর উওরাসুরী সুবাদার শায়েস্তা খাঁ সুবাদার হিসেবে ঢাকায় আাসেন। এসে ১৬৮০ সালে আাবর নির্মাণ কাজ শুরু করেন। কিন্তুু দুঃখ জনক বিষয় যে, সুবাদার শায়েস্তা খাঁ ও এর নির্মান কাজ সমাপ্ত করতে পরেন নি। ৪ বছর কাজ চলার পর হটাত ১৬৮৪ সালে সুবাদার শায়েস্তা খাঁর মেয়ের ইরান দুখত রাহমাত বানু(পরী বিবি) মৃত্যু ঘঠায় সে তার মেয়েকে দেখতে চলে যায়।

 

 

Later, Shaista Khan, the Warasuri subaddar of Subadarda Muhammad Azam Shah, came to Dhaka as a subaddar. Again, started construction work in 1680. But it is unfortunate that Subaddar Shaista Khan and his construction work could not be completed.After working for 4 years, the daughter of Subaddar Shaista Khan (Peri Bibi) died in 184. He went to see his daughter.

 

 

লালবাগ কেল্লার একাধিক নিদর্শনের মধ্যে পরি বিবির সমাধি উল্লেখযোগ্য। তবে, সুবাদার শায়েস্তা খাঁ ঢাকা ছাড়ার পর এর জনপ্রিয়তা কমে যায়। 

 

 

Among the multiple specimens of Lalbagh fort, the tomb of Pari Bibi is notable. However, its popularity waned after Subaddar Shaista Khan left Dhaka.

বি.দ্র : মেয়ের মৃত্যুর পর সুবাদার শায়েস্তা খাঁ মনে করতেন যে লালবাগ কেল্লা একটি অভিশপ্ত কেল্লা। একারনে, সে ঢাকা ছাড়ে। আার, এই কারনেই ঢাকা থেকে মুর্শিদাবাদে রাজধানী স্থানান্তরিত করা হয়। 

 

 

After the death of his daughter, Subaddar Shaista Khan thought that Lalbagh fort was a cursed fort.Therefore, he left Dhaka. This is the reason why the capital was shifted from Dhaka to Murshidabad.
