Knowing yourself is the first step to building self-confidence. Accept your mistakes and move forward. People who lack self-confidence mostly suffer from imposter syndrome.
Imposter syndrome is a mental condition in which a person doubts his or her own abilities or achievements and feels incompetent. Inwardly he fears that others may discover his inadequacy.
Before we can develop confidence we must accept three constant truths.
1. As humans, none of us can be perfect. Everyone will have imperfections which is very normal.
2. Instead of trying to control what is out of our control, we should focus only on the things that are within our control.
3. Always think of yourself as your competitor. No one can be considered as a competitor. One should focus on self-improvement without trying or thinking of beating others.
We will become aware of our inner critic or conflict, shut down the conflict and prove him wrong. Pushing ourselves to try new things every day and being kind to ourselves when things don't go our way.
It is very important for all of us to have specific goals in life to increase self-confidence.
Things that we need to think about or fix to always maintain confidence in ourselves are-
• Define specific goals.
• Set goals bigger than dreams.
• Any practice should be consistent.
• One should have maximum 3 priorities in life and work according to that priority.
• Sleep should be fixed first. You should sleep from 10 pm to 5 am every day.
When I start writing, I don't want to finish writing. I just want to write all day. I finished writing here. But I want to write more but I don't have time.
I hope everyone tries to apply what I write in their lives. Knowing or learning something is worthless if you don't apply it in your life.
So try to convert what you know or learn into action. Otherwise reading so many books or reading answers will be of no use. Rather, it will just be a waste of time.
Happy reading 📚
