The life story of the neglected farmers of Bangladesh.

Dear friends, I hope you are all well and healthy. I am also very well and healthy with your prayers. Today I will share with you some discussion and criticism about the hardships of our Bangladeshi farmers and their lack of appreciation. This post is welcome and congratulations to all of you.



Bangladesh is an agriculture dependent country. The main crop in this country is paddy. Most of the land is cultivated with rice. Therefore, Bangladesh is self-sufficient in food. Even if the farmers of this country do not need advanced technology in agriculture, these farmers still plant paddy in their land with many hardships. If advanced technology is not available for planting paddy, some light-thinner technology is used at present. Mini tractors i.e. power tillers are often seen among them. Also, although some paddy cutting machines and paddy machines are seen, they are seen in some areas, but in most areas, these machines never go.

Even if the farmers have worked so hard and burnt the rice with so much pain, their crops have grown, they never get the fair price. They only suffer from earlier till now but they are never given fair evaluation and the government does not keep any kind of vigilance in this regard. In this regard, we will present a few calculations on how much it costs to cultivate one bigha of land and how much money is earned.

It takes about 1 thousand 2 hundred taka to cultivate one bigha of land. Then when fertilizer is applied, it takes about 800 to 900 taka, the total cost is about 12 to 1500 taka. It takes about 500 taka to buy rice seeds. After that, it takes 50 taka to pick up the seedling paddy from the seed bed and 100 taka to raise the seedlings, it takes 800 taka to carry 400 paddy in one bigha of land. After that, the rent of the machine to fight paddy is 600 taka. Then after cleaning that paddy, I have to sell it in the market for 1200 taka. About 20 maunds of paddy are produced in one bigha of land. The price of good quality rice is 20,400 taka. If the price of paddy is 3000 ati, if it is 3 taka, then 9000 taka can be sold. Then the last addition and subtraction is:

               For planting saplings = 400/
              For water rent = 2500/
                   For paddy cutting = 2400/

In our country, the farmers work so hard to grow this crop, and the price of that crop is very low, while the price of other items is very high. In this regard, our government should come forward and give subsidies to the farmers for agricultural work. And the grain should be bought by the government at a higher price. If the farmer lives, the country will live, and if the farmer dies, the country will die. The people of the country will die. So we should have a good view of the government towards the farmers of our country.
