Backbiting is not good. Backbiting is a great sin.

Dear friends, I hope you are all well, I am also well and healthy by the grace of Allah through your prayers. Today I want to share with you something about a sensitive sin i.e. the great sin of backbiting. This post is welcome and congratulations to you all.

Let's discuss first what Geeb really is? Gossip is saying something to an absent person without his being aware of it. That is, there is no truth or falsehood in gossiping, the only condition is that if the person being spoken about is absent, and if something is said about the absent person to someone else or to someone else, it will be considered gossip. Some Ulama Ekram take this a step further by saying that whatever is said about the absent person is considered slander if the words are heard by the absent person and cause distress to him.

There are four types of backbiting. Among these three types of backbiting will not be any kind of sin. And the fourth type of keyboard is absolutely haram which is prohibited by Islam. Now come to backbiting three people are involved ie it takes three people. A second person listens when one speaks and the third person speaks about whom the speaker speaks. That is, if a person tells something about a third person to another person, it will be converted into backbiting. Now three types of backbiting are permissible and some examples are given below. Before giving an example, two things are not said that it takes three people to gossip. If any of the three people benefit even a little, then that gossip is definitely halal. Even if this slander is directly slandered, it will not be a sin. For this reason, these three types of backbiting have been declared halal.

Example 1: Suppose a boy has come to see a girl for marriage. A person near the sinner's house knows or knows the vessel. So, if he calls any well-wisher, father or elder brother of Patti and says, don't give this boy because this boy is not good, he drinks alcohol, uses ganja, gambles, steals and robs, character is not good, etc. Knows that he informs the bride's father, brother or uncle thoroughly about the bride and forbids the marriage. Here, a neighbor next to the bride's house told the girl's father about the boy or about the boy, that is, it seems that he directly slandered, but actually this slander is lawful. Because marriage is not for a day and because of this marriage if the husband is not good then the girl's life will be ruined. Therefore, due to this backbiting, the bride was greatly benefited. This backbiting has been declared halal for this benefit.

Example 2: Suppose there are several people living in a village. Different types of people live in that village. Quality people such as blacksmiths, potters, tatis, farmers, thieves, robbers etc. live in the village. A boy has stolen, this news has spread throughout the village. In the tea stalls people sit and drink tea in the afternoon and different kinds of conversations take place there. A person knows that the boy has stolen suppose his name is Kareem. He is sitting on the farm eating tea telling everyone that so and so's son Karim has stolen a cow tonight. Everyone is listening to this and asking questions etc. Because of saying here, there is no possibility of any benefit to anyone, that is, there can be no benefit. Because it is said in the farming land that there are many people who are less or sit, they can not discipline that thief and the one who is saying it is saying it. Because the thief's body tells the story under his breath, none of the parties, i.e. the three parties, benefit from it, so it is absolutely forbidden to gossip. There is no benefit to any party here.

Example 3: Suppose two friends walk together in a village and do different activities together. A man from that village came to a friend of these two friends and asked to borrow money. He borrows money and does various activities but borrows this money and does not repay the loan. So the man was asking to borrow money from a friend of these two friends and the Arab was discussing quickly came to them and said friend you have an urgent matter. Come here. Then the friend came to him and he said what he said and he wants to borrow money then the friend said to that friend don't lend him money he borrows money and never repays the loan. That is, if you give money, you will be in a lot of trouble because he will not pay you back easily. As a result, the friend did not lend the person any more money. Here, the friend was rightly slandering, but there is no sin for him because he was saved from a great hardship, that is, he was benefited. This type of backbiting is halal and backbiting that does not or cannot be beneficial is absolutely haram. Allah Hafez is finishing here today.
