Do not get offended if you're a Bangladesh fan but the harsh reality is that a win for Netherlands today cannot be termed an upset. As much as Bangladesh are a force to reckon with in ODI cricket, their fortunes in the other two formats haven't improved. And in T20 cricket, there seems to be no end to their woes despite the presence of their skipper, who happens to be one of the best in the business. Bangladesh have won just two games in this format post the 2021 T20 WC and that's never a good sign.

Constant changes are being made to that XI and they are likely to go in with a new opening pair again today. Given Netherlands are coming into this round on the back of two wins, momentum will be on their side.
