Always be patient.

Tests come in different ways in people's lives. Sometimes tested with more happiness. Sometimes it is tested through sorrow. In it, man sets an example of being a true servant of Allah through his patience and gratitude. On the other hand, misguided people fail in this and are deprived of all the opportunities of the Hereafter.

I test you with evil and good, and to Me you shall return.
    (Suratul Ambiya: 35)

Evil means every thing contrary to nature such as sickness, suffering and good and desirable and desirable things such as health, safety etc.

In this mortal world, both of these things come forward for human testing. His rights should be earned by patience in matters that are against his nature and his rights should be earned by being thankful in matters that are desirable. The test is who is strong and who is not
  remains

And surely I will test you with fear, hunger, wealth, lives and fruits; And give glad tidings to those who are patient.
(Suratul Imran: 155)

Some commentators say that in this verse, fear of Allah is meant by 'fear' and fasting by 'hunger'. And by 'loss of some wealth' Zakat is intended, by 'loss of some life' disease is intended by 'loss of fruit crops' and loss of offspring. But these sayings need research. Almighty God knows best.

Hadith comes, Rasul SAW. Said:
The greatest test is calamity, calamity is given to the prophets. Then those who are after them Then the people after that. Then the people after that.
(Musanade Ahmad: 6/369)

It is stated in a hadith,
All the minor or major calamities that befall the servant are either due to their sins or their many sins are forgiven—(Mazhari).

There is no calamity that befalls a Muslim for which Allah does not atone for him. Even the cut that sprouts on the leg—(Mazhari).

So it can be understood that the imminent danger is the atonement that leads to liberation in the Hereafter.
